This is a tradition that is as old as the human communities existing on the planet. In Navarre it links up with such deep-rooted traditions as that of auzolan, in which common jobs are carried out by and within the local community.
Since it was set up in 2003, CRANA has assumed the task of lending support to all those organisations and groups that promote programmes and activities involving environmental voluntary work in Navarra. Our aim is for environmental voluntary work to become consolidated as a genuine alternative in the form of citizens’ participation in order to help improve and preserve the environment.
We are currently promoting the Navarra Environmental Voluntary Work Programme and the Environmental Voluntary Work Programme in Rivers in collaboration with different associations and some local groups.
